Lunar Total Eclipse (July 27, 2018)

On July 27 2018, a total Lunar Eclipse could be seen from the Negev territory in Israel. A spectacular Blood Moon was also recorded during the eclipse. The entire event may be viewed as a time-lapse clip.

Mercury Transit (May 09, 2016)

On May 09 2016, a ‘May’ Mercury solar-Transit could be partially seen from the Negev territory in Israel. Despite of cloudy weather conditions with occasional rain drops during the event, most of the process could be nicely observed. The partial Transit may be viewed as a time-lapse clip.

Comet ISON C/2012 S1

Comet ISON C/2012 S1 was first observed during September 2012 and will reach its perihelion on November 28 2013 when approaching a distance of only 730,000 miles from the surface of the sun. During early November, the comet can be observed toward east at around 04:00 in the morning.
